Trillium Construction is now seeking a Traveling Field Electrician for direct-hire!


Our client is a National on-shore land drilling contractor specializing in pad rigs used for the development of heavy oil and shale gas resources. They are now hiring a Traveling Field Electrician for work throughout the Permian Basin.


Direct hire. Pay is up to $45/hr plus OT. 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, will be working 90 hrs a week. Housing provided, $50/daily per diem, Company vehicle w/gas card. M/V/D, 401K, PTO and holiday pay.


Duties:
-Perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting issues and general
repair of drilling equipment.
-Diagnose electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and
part catalogs as necessary.
-Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
-Perform electrical Installs, maintenance and repair wiring systems, fixtures and electrical equipment
-Perform repairs of motors, generators, make connections and termination

Qualifications:
-MUST have 2-4 years electrical experience with on shore drilling rigs or similar experience.
-460V, AC/DC drives, high voltage
-Top drilling
-PLC and programming is a plus
-MUST pass pre-employment screening (background, hair follicle test and MVR)
