In this role, you’ll focus on building distributed data platforms, enhancing developer workflows, and improving system reliability at scale. Collaborating closely with engineers and data scientists, your work will have a significant impact on system performance, innovation velocity, and the broader product ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

• Design and maintain distributed systems for storage, compute, and streaming in a cloud-native environment.
• Build tools and automation that improve developer productivity and streamline workflows.
• Develop and support observability solutions including monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks.
• Work closely with engineering and data teams to translate technical requirements into scalable infrastructure.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into existing systems through an iterative, agile approach.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and security of data pipelines and platform services.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based infrastructure engineering (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker).
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Skilled in programming with TypeScript, Python, or other object-oriented languages (at least 2).
• Deep knowledge of distributed data systems and streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
• Familiar with networking in private cloud environments and VPC configurations.
• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD and observability tooling.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Bonus: Experience with ML platforms (e.g. Databricks, SageMaker, Vertex AI) and a strong interest in sports or sports betting platforms.

• Competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $190,000 , plus equity.
