Job Description
Large General Contractor looking for a full-time, temporary Field Compliance Associate for large-scale job in Waterbury, CT.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Oversee and regularly confirm that all required job site postings are visible and posted
•Ensure all GC employees and employees of all subcontractors are properly badged before being permitted access to the project site
•Ensure all GC employees and employees of all subcontractors individually sign in/out daily
•Conduct and document labor compliance interviews with subcontractor employees (scheduled and random) to verify accuracy of prevailing wage rate, classification, etc.
•Review subcontractor insurance and signed contract report to ensure only eligible subcontractors are on site.
•Complete weekly summaries of job site activity and compliance for review by the Director of Compliance
•Other related projects, as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
•Highly ethical with a proven track record of adherence to compliance standards
•Demonstrated computer proficiency—Experience with Elations software a plus
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Highly organized with strict attention to detail
•Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
•Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
•Ability to process requests quickly and efficiently
•Ability to provide excellent customer service
•Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
•Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-starter
•Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
•Clean driving records and valid state Driver’s License
•Ability to transport self to/from job site.
•Previous DOL experience a plus
•Deadline-driven
