Job Title: 1st Shift Painter
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a joystick-controlled sandblaster to remove rust from metal parts, using an overhead crane to load parts onto hooks for transportation into the paint machine, and operating a sprayer to paint parts inside the booth. The position requires machine setup, product processing, and equipment maintenance, adhering to defined operating parameters and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform machine setup and product processing utilizing defined operating parameters.
Operate a sandblaster and overhead crane for rust removal and part transportation.
Use a sprayer to paint parts inside the booth following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Execute quality checks and inspections as needed.
Participate in team performance and improvement meetings, including 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Continuously build job knowledge through execution of SOPs and proficiency audits.
Essential Skills
Experience with machine operation, CNC, and overhead crane usage.
Proficiency in industrial painting, sandblasting, and powder coating.
Ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently) and use hand and power tools.
Capacity to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion.
Ability to perform lifting, climbing, standing, and equipment usage.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
