About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Digital Strategy for Entertainment. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing a multi-platform digital strategy, with a primary focus on building digital businesses, premium video, and editorial across the entertainment brands. This role requires a leader who is a self-starter, rooted in a digital-first strategy, and has a deep understanding of how to grow digital P&Ls. The VP will be responsible for overseeing digital strategy in areas such as multi-platform video, social and emerging platforms, and establishing best-in-class content strategies. A strong background in digital and entertainment editorial, a clear vision for brand strategy, and a proven track record of driving revenue and growth in a competitive environment are essential. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with at least 10 years' in digital strategy. The role demands a big-picture strategist with the ability to execute vision, drive revenue streams, and grow social media and content strategy. The VP will be expected to work with ad sales teams to identify digital-first integrations and revenue opportunities, as well as manage P&Ls across all digital brands. Strong leadership skills, a command of editorial best practices, and a strong knowledge of SEO and algorithms are also required. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader, a strong communicator, and have a passion for pop culture.
