\n\nJob Details – Medical Surgical RN Travel Assignment\n

• Location: Albany, GA 31701 – Southwest Georgia healthcare jobs in a friendly, affordable community near Atlanta, Tallahassee, and Shell Point Beach.\n
• Setting: Acute Care – Medical Surgical Unit (44 beds)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing\n
• Start Date: November 17, 2025\n
• End Date: March 16, 2026\n
• Duration: 17 weeks\n
• Shifts: 12-hour days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue\n
• EMR: Meditech (preferred experience)\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1800\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Georgia RN license (Registered Nurse)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience\n
• BLS certification (AHA required)\n
• NIHSS certification (AHA required)\n
• Ability to float to all acute care and cardiac units\n
• Willingness to work holidays as needed\n
• Must reside at least 75 miles from Albany, GA (strict radius requirement)\n

\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a busy Medical Surgical unit\n
• Manage a patient load of 1:5, occasionally 1:6\n
• Collaborate with nurse aides and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes\n
• Accurately document care and interventions using Meditech EMR\n
• Float to other acute care and cardiac units as needed\n
• Participate in general and unit-specific orientation, including EMR training\n
