Job Description

Duties:

NWHSU Student Tour Guides are responsible for hosting tours for prospective students and their parents or other supporting parties. Tour guides will the responsible for leading campus visits on their own or support admission counselors by attending campus visits with them. Each guide is responsible for showing their prospective about life on campus as a student in the College of Chiropractic. Tour guides must display pride and passion for Northwestern Health Sciences University while representing themselves and the school in a professional and appropriate manner.

Training will be provided by the Office of Admissions. Training includes, but it not limited to, campus tour protocol, University facts and history, general campus knowledge, and operational policies.

Tour Guide Shifts:

• Applicants must be available two/three of the following time slots:
  • Thursday 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Fridays 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
  • Fridays 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
• Admissions Counselors may reach out for tours scheduled outside of the scheduled tour blocks.

Special group tours will be scheduled outside of normal shifts and offered as optional if available.

Job Qualifications:

The NWSHU Student Tour Guide position is currently limited to students enrolled in the College of Chiropractic who have availability on Thursdays and Fridays for tours. Schedules pending, we would like the guides to commit to at least two terms if possible. Continued employment is ensured through exemplary performance but granted at the discretion of the VP of Enrollment Management.

Tour guides must display pride and passion for Northwestern Health Sciences University and the chiropractic career path.
