Job Description

A full-time Social Worker position is available in an onsite PreK-3rd grade elementary school setting in Harvard, IL. This contract role extends throughout the school year and requires a dedicated professional to support students and their families within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to students in PreK through 3rd grade, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans that assist students' well-being and academic success.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized support plans, and facilitate referrals to community resources when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a current Social Work License.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
