Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team. This full-time hybrid position. The role focuses on analysis, design, coding, and testing of application code. What You'll Do: Collaborate with the Information Technology Office and Business units to develop technical solutions based on business/system requirements Lead the development of program specification requirements, including coding Deliver new or modified programs and conduct unit testing Develop supportive documentation and participate in system testing with users Provide technical expertise in database conversions and usability testing What You'll Need: 12 years of hands-on experience in COBOL/CICS/DB2 coding, testing, and debugging 12 years of experience with IBM OS/JCL (MVS) and IBM/DB2 10 years of experience with CICS 9 years of experience in developing supportive documentation and usability testing Strong verbal and written communication skills 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study Experience in IDMS/DC to CICS and IDMS to DB2 conversions Experience in Java or PEGA Physical Demands: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor The pay range for this position is $50 - $60 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
