Georgia-Pacific is now hiring Scale House Operator for our facility in Savannah, GA recycling plant.

Salary:

Starting at $18-$20/hr. based upon experience

Shift:

1st Shift Mon - Fri: 9AM - 5:00PM

What You Will Do

• Ensuring that all employees maintain compliance to all company policies and procedures related to scale activities
• Actively pursuing and identifying new ways to reduce cost of operation and improve day to day activities
• Answering phone calls and assisting drivers, vendors, and suppliers or directing calls to the appropriate person
• Interfacing with truck drivers, vendors, and suppliers
• Keeping accurate transaction records on inbound and outbound shipments
• Preparing and sending required export documentation and CCIC (China Certification Inspection Company) photos in a timely manner
• Planning daily shipments for 4-7 dedicated on-site drivers

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior experience with scale operations.
• Prior experience in logistics.
