Job Summary Join a Leading Pediatric Emergency Medicine Team at GeisingerGeisinger is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship-trained physician to join our dynamic and growing team at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, Pennsylvania. Job Duties

About the Team

At Geisinger, you'll work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of pediatric emergency professionals, including:

• Over 50 certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine nurses across the system

• In-house Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists available 24/7

• Certified Child Life Specialists to support children and families during care

• Advanced practice providers (APPs) and emergency medicine physicians

• Fellowship-trained PEM physicians who lead initiatives in education, quality improvement, and clinical innovation

• Collaborative subspecialty support from nearly every pediatric medical and surgical specialty within our 90-bed children's hospital

• A culture of team-based care , continuous learning, and shared decision-making

Practice Highlights

• 9-bed pediatric emergency zone at GMC designed with infants, children, and teens in mind

• 15% pediatric admission rate

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: $350,000

• Fellowship stipend: $2,500/month from offer acceptance to graduation

• Forgivable recruitment loan: $100,000 paid in the first month

• $3,500 CME allowance annually

• Low cost of living and proximity to NYC, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.

• 90-bed children's hospital on-site at GMC

• Full range of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited PEM fellowship

• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and leadership skills

• Interest in program development , medical education , and research
