Phlebotomist II - Mesquite Tx 75150

Schedule: Monday-Thur, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $18 - $23/hour

Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to support a leading healthcare provider in Mesquite Tx (75150) . This role is ideal for candidates with advanced phlebotomy skills and a strong commitment to patient care and service excellence.

As a Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) , you will be responsible for collecting and preparing blood specimens for lab testing while maintaining a professional, patient-focused environment. You will interact directly with patients, helping them feel comfortable and informed during each visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric

• Accurately label, process, and handle specimens according to established procedures

• Verify patient identity and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

• Provide excellent customer service while explaining procedures and answering questions

• Work independently and travel to various locations as needed

• Maintain confidentiality and follow all safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, and WA)

• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center setting preferred

• Strong data entry and communication skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable)

• Flexibility to work rotational Saturdays and travel between sites as needed
