Position Summary:

As a critical member of our pharmacy team, you will work under direct supervision from a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-centered retail pharmacy environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Promoting Patient Safety
• Maintaining Pharmacy Professional Practice
• Complying with Regulatory Requirements
• Ensuring Quality Assurance
• Providing Customer Service
• Managing Inventory
• Facilitating Workflow Management (excluding final prescription verification)

Key Responsibilities:

Your role as a pharmacy intern will focus on supporting our patients' health through effective patient care programs. Additionally, you will:

Education Requirements:

• Active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

• Active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all necessary training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Physical ability to perform the following:
• Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Stand for extended periods and perform various lifting tasks.
• Utilize fine motor skills for tasks requiring dexterity.
• Engage in reaching and positioning activities to manage pharmacy items.
• Maintain visual acuity for detailed tasks.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Lift up to 20 lbs as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Eligibility for immunization certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Aim to provide patient immunizations once regulatory criteria are met, as this is an essential pharmacist function.

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is between $18.50 and $42.00.
