Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist I (Utilization Management) REMOTE ROLE

  • Location: Massachusetts (or any state with active RPh license), Arkansas, California, Delaware

Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota

Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I (UM) with a stable work history and a fresh candidate profile (no prior submissions). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of clinical experience or completion of a pharmacy residency, an active pharmacist license , and preferably a background in retail pharmacy and/or managed care .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review pharmacy prior authorization requests and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide peer-to-peer clinical consultations and support formulary management.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations support staff and ensure timely, accurate determinations.
  • Participate in care management, staff training, and issue resolution.
  • Support program development and implement utilization management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
  • 5+ years clinical experience or residency
  • RPh license (Massachusetts or any applicable state)
  • MTM Certification desirable
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills

Preference:

  • Retail experience
  • Fresh candidate pool only (no prior submissions)
  • Stable, consistent work history
