Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN | Skilled Nursing & Rehab | Ohio COTA License Required
Kingston Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team in Ohio. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping residents regain function, confidence, and independence through person-centered care and supportive teamwork.
Responsibilities: Follow treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist to provide individual and group therapy sessions. Assist residents with exercises and functional activities that promote independence and improve quality of life. Document treatment sessions and progress notes accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team members. Support education and training for residents, caregivers, and staff. Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for therapy and recovery.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Active COTA license in the State of Ohio required. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. A passion for helping older adults succeed in achieving their functional goals. Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab settings preferred but not required.
