MedCadre is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic care team in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The selected candidate will provide critical care nursing services for patients with life-threatening conditions, ensuring excellence in monitoring, interventions, and recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care in the ICU, including continuous monitoring, assessment, and treatment.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing clinical judgment to initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and nursing protocols.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in patient rounds, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Medical Record Keeping.
• Nice to have knowledge in ACLS, Infection Control, Medication Administration, Patient Care Planning, Patient Assessment, Critical Care Nursing, Emergency Response, Life Support Systems Operation and Telemetry Monitoring

Schedule & Hours:

• Day shifts available (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
• Night shifts available (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Days Per Week: 3 Days
• Guaranteed hours 36.

Required Qualifications:\n• Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin.\n• Recent ICU nursing experience.\n• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross).\n• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.\n• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
