Summer Intern - Product Engr & New Product Development

Reports to the Engineering Manager. This is a summer intern position working in our Auburn Hills, MI facility. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of costs and other techniques for maximizing the effectives of manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD (Creo and Solidworks) software design tools to design manufactured parts, text fixtures and to create blue prints.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Able to design and think analytically and creatively.
• Able to operate on own initiative but also contribute as a team member working within the Design Team, Test Team and other cross functional teams.

Qualifications

• Coursework completed towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
