Air-Way Canada | Pacific Hose & Fittings, is a trusted supplier of hydraulic hose and fittings since 1977. We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air-Way Mfg Company, leading manufacturer of hydraulic adapters since 1950.

The Opportunity

Air-Way Canada is looking for a customer oriented Inside Sales/Customer Service individual to join our team in Langley, British Columbia. You will communicate directly with our customers over the phone, receive and process orders for our hydraulic adapters, fittings and hoses, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external enquires via phone, e-mail, fax or in person
• Great professional customer service skills, including verbal, written
• Understand our product lines and be willing to learn how to promote them
• Understand the importance of good follow-up and response time to our customers
• Procurement of products for orders
• Taking customer orders over the phone and helping walk ins
• Building and maintaining relationships with our customers
• Identifying needs and product opportunities
• You are mechanically inclined ; you enjoy to get hands-on with tools, equipment, and learn new skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• Ideally 2+ years experience within the hydraulics or similar technical industry
• Post secondary education or training in Sales or Marketing an asset
• Self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and with others
• 3+ years experience in a customer service role
• Proficient written and oral communication skills (ability to read and write legibly)
• Knowledge of components and hydraulic systems used in industry and mobile equipment is an asset
• Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
• Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must be computer literate with knowledge of all standard Microsoft Office programs

The pay range for this role is: $50,000 - $70,000 per year based on experience. This is an onsite role based in Gloucester Industrial Park, Langley, BC.
