Job Title: Industrial Painter
Job Description
Training will be provided to grind, sand, and clean metal frames for cooling and heating systems. The ideal candidate will prepare fabrications for paint using sanding equipment and solvents, effectively build skids and crates according to specifications provided, package material to prevent damage during transit, and clean, insulate, and label products. Candidates will be prepping these parts for the paints department and should have a basic understanding of different power tools and hand tools and their functions.
Responsibilities
Prepare metal frames for cooling and heating systems using grinding, sanding, and cleaning techniques.
Utilize sanding equipment and solvents to prepare fabrications for painting.
Build skids and crates according to specifications.
Package materials to ensure protection during transit.
Clean, insulate, and label products.
Use power tools and hand tools effectively.
Read and interpret basic measuring tools such as a ruler or measuring tape.
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Bend and stand for 8 hours a day.
Collaborate with the paints department to ensure proper preparation of parts.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED.
2-3 years of experience in industrial painting and mechanical assembly.
2-3 years of experience operating spray painting equipment.
2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in assembling industrial cooling or HVAC equipment.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 manufacturing environments.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

Work Environment
Work in a small section of the warehouse in the fabrication department, with your own workstation equipped with a selection of tools. The shift times are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The job requires wearing a face mask, glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes at all times.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
