Your Impact as a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor In this role, you will:
- Lead the Team : Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Schedule Efficiently : Plan department schedules in line with census and labor budget requirements.
- Manage Inventory : Order and maintain stock of housekeeping and laundry supplies while staying within budget.
- Ensure Cleanliness : Perform and oversee duties such as mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and disinfecting to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Inspect and Monitor : Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper sanitation, infection control, and adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Train Staff : Provide job-specific training and enforce proper laundry and cleaning techniques to prevent infection and maintain hygiene.
- Support Operations : Stock supply rooms and oversee the consistent delivery of clean linen and personal laundry.
