We are seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager with a proven track record in Hilton Select Service hotels to lead daily operations, maximize revenue, and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction. Job Summary

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, food & beverage (where applicable), and financial management. This role ensures compliance with Hilton brand standards, drives guest satisfaction, and achieves financial performance goals. The GM also plays a critical leadership role in hiring, training, and motivating team members to create a culture of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality.
  • Drive operational excellence in all departments, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, forecasts, and budgets to achieve profitability and revenue growth goals.
  • Analyze market conditions, STR reports, and competitor performance to maximize occupancy and RevPAR.
  • Monitor and improve guest feedback metrics (SALTs, Medallia, TripAdvisor, Hilton Honors reviews).
  • Ensure financial controls including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense management.
  • Prepare timely reports and communicate performance updates to ownership and corporate stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong community and brand presence through networking, partnerships, and property visibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of Hilton or other major hotel brand management experience in Select Service hotels.
  • Minimum of 3 years hotel management or supervisory experience with proven success in operations leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of competitive markets, revenue management, and industry trends.
  • Professional presence, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written/verbal communication.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Hilton systems (OnQ, GRO, R&I, etc.) and general business software.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
