Job Title: Head of Sales - Sports Recovery & Performance Tech Location: Remote (United States, based in Colorado, Florida, or Texas) Travel: up to 25% Summary: We’re looking for a founding sales leader who thrives in an early-stage, high-ambiguity environment. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the sales motion—digital and in-person—from the ground up, owning top-of-funnel strategy, leading sales conversations, and directly informing our product roadmap. This role requires testing value propositions, crafting messaging from scratch, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive us toward product-market fit in the clinic and performance center segment. Responsibilities: Build and execute a hybrid (digital + in-person) sales motion, including email, phone, social, and onsite channels. Test and refine Quantum’s value proposition through direct feedback from prospects. Act as a voice of the customer—working closely with product and leadership to inform the roadmap and GTM strategy. Establish early sales infrastructure: CRM setup, pipeline management, outreach templates, and sales process. Conduct discovery calls, product overviews, and drive deals to close. Develop personalized outreach strategies tailored to buyer personas (clinic owners, performance directors, rehab specialists). Track, analyze, and report on lead generation and conversion metrics. Hire, train, and mentor future sales hires as we scale. Qualifications: 5–10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in digital health, wellness tech, or performance markets. Proven success as a founding or early sales hire (0→1)—building the sales funnel, closing early customers, and shaping GTM from scratch. Strong preference for experience selling into physical therapy, sports medicine, or clinic environments. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product teams to align customer feedback with roadmap development. Skilled in testing messaging, refining the value proposition, and adapting quickly based on prospect insights. Proficient with CRM tools and comfortable setting up and managing sales infrastructure. Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with high ownership, strong execution, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
