About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Game Development to join their team. This pivotal role is a blend of hands-on development and people management, with a focus on leading the client game development team, providing technical direction, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the technical strategy for front-end game development, evaluating and integrating new technologies, and maintaining the quality and performance of the games. This includes overseeing the game development lifecycle, from concept to release, and ensuring that the front-end code is clean, maintainable, and scalable. The Head of Game Development will also be involved in talent development, including recruitment, training, and fostering professional growth within the team. Candidates for the Head of Game Development position at the company should have a proven track record in a senior game development role, with a strong background in real-money slot game development. Experience in managing and leading technical teams, as well as a good understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and the online gaming market, is essential. The role requires exceptional leadership, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to balance creativity with commercial considerations. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is advantageous, but candidates will be evaluated based on their knowledge and experience. The Head of Game Development will also be responsible for ensuring clear communication and coordination between all departments involved in the development process.
