The Virtual Controller position is responsible for managing the ongoing financial reporting operations of the firm on behalf of our clients. This includes the review of periodic financial reports prepared, preparation of budget, KPI and other management reports, variance analysis, and comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the client's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. responsible for client analysis management report. DESCRIPTION + Weekly client meetings with clients relating to daily, weekly, monthly tasks completed, deliverables, ongoing WIP, special projects, and open action items lists + Internal Management Summary Report preparation (status of month end close, ongoing improvements, efficiencies, errors, quality) + Internal Client Analysis Report preparation for the Virtual CFO or Controller (Variance Analysis, Cash Flow Reporting) + Preparation of complex client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Critical Success Factors (CSFs), and other management reports (Revenue Growth, # or volume of transactions) + Budgeting and Forecasting project completion (in support of CFO) and completion of Management Financial & Non-Financial Report Package + Review of Management Reporting Packages prepared by Accounting Manager/Sr Associate + Creation and ongoing monthly maintenance of client procedure manuals & playbooks with how-to instructions + Creation and ongoing monthly maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly tasks checklists by client + Resource planning and management of accounting and technical resources within practice and across other practices like tax + Overall day-to-day management of financial reporting accuracy and on-time processing of client information + Bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations + Payroll reconciliations + Review and approval of account classifications and resolving uncategorized transactions + Review of G/L for any missing transactions and overall accuracy + Management of weekly 'Open Items' and 'To-Be-Coded' lists, supervised/reviewed by the Controller + Preparation of initial/draft Management Reporting Package each month, To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
