Job Description An established San Francisco Bay Area Civil and Geotechnical Engineering firm is seeking a part-time Accountant, who will be based out of our San Francisco office. This position will start out as a Part-Time position. After 90 days, if candidate successfully fulfills requirements of position, can become a Full-time position. Duties: Preparation and submission of monthly client invoices Process, review, entry and tracking of sub consultant invoices/contracts and job charges Process accounts payable / account receivable / deposits Assist with account reconciliations and payroll process Prepare project and accounting related Excel spreadsheets and custom reports Review and enter timesheets and expenses Qualifications: Knowledge of fundamental general accounting skills Minimum 5+ years experience Experience with Deltek Ajera Software strongly desired Strong Word and Excel spreadsheets skills Highly dependable with outstanding attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Responsible, committed and self-motivated Team player and adaptable to changing priorities Ability to stay organized, multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure Experience in the architectural and engineering industry is a big plus Benefits: We offer a competitive salary plus an exceptional benefits package for FULL-TIME employees including: Annual increases & bonus pay Medical, dental, and vision (optional) Flexible Spending Accounts and Dependent Care Spending Accounts (optional) 401(k) and 401(k) matching after 1 year of employment (up to 4%) Vacation, Sick time, and 7 paid holidays LTD, Life, and AD&D Insurance +voluntary options Professional development opportunities Salary Range: Annual Salary (PT) Hourly Salary Title Min Max Min Max Experienced Accountant $31,200.00- $36,4000.00 $30.00 - $35.00 AGS Company Culture: Semi-annual company events (Summer/Family & Holiday) Monthly staff lunches and department lunches Quarterly all staff luncheon/meetings Happy hours & seasonal/holiday celebrations Flexible schedule Incentives (such as wellness, commuter) Our offices are also close to transit.
