Location: Clemson, SC

Duration: 6 month contract with potential to extend contract

Schedule:

• 5 hour to 10 hour shifts and 8 hours on Saturday (no Sundays)
• Eligible for Overtime after 40 hours

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavator machinery to demolish structures and clear debris.
• Operate roller machinery to compact and level surfaces during the demolition process.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Coordinate with the demolition team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors.
• Ensure safe operation of the excavator and compliance with safety regulations.

Required Skills and Experience:

Requirements:

• Willingness to travel.
• Proven experience as an excavator operator in construction or demolition projects.
• Proven experience as a roller operator in construction or demolition projects.
• Valid certification to operate excavator machinery.
• OSHA 10 card required.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Stamina to operate machinery for extended periods.

Compensation: $30-36/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
