The
Data Analyst Summer Intern will work on departmental projects as well as participate in professional development and enrichment activities. You will assist with data validation, data analysis, and data solutions as we support all the reporting and analytical needs for the department.
We are currently hiring for our Summer Internship 2024 program. Placement will depend on a candidate's current coursework, track to graduation, and experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities •Assist with data solutions and delivery for department needs.
•Assist with streamlining manual processes.
•Assist with ideas and processes to drop call volume.
•Assist with data validation.
•Communicate ideas clearly and succinctly.
•Check work for reasonability.
•Willingness to learn different areas within the organization.
•Work on different projects within the department as well as team projects
•Back up other team members during vacations and/or leaves of absence.
Required Skills Required •Proficiency using MS office Suite including Outlook & MS Teams
•Ability to work independently, remotely and self-manage.
•Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
•Qualified candidates must also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions.
Preferred •Experience with, or knowledge of, SQL, or understanding of structured / relational data.
•Experience with, or knowledge of, using data visualizations tools.
•Experience with, or knowledge of, MS Office software
•Experience with, or knowledge of, Python or R

Required Experience - Must have obtained at least a Junior status in a Bachelor's degree program (Computer Science or Analytics)

- Qualified candidates must also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (Official Transcript May be Requested)
- Ability to work 40 hours per week June 3rd, 2024 - July 26th, 2024.
- U.S citizen or legal resident.
