COMPUTER OPERATOR: Senior Level

Inferno Systems is searching for a Computer Network Operator to work on our red team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that will challenge your technical and problem solving skills. Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of related experience, have a solid background in the Penetration Test / Attack Lifecycle and be able to pivot and exploit while avoiding detection in high-security networks. The CNO will be responsible for all phases of network exploitation and will be able to successfully attack and persist in target networks, which include a diverse set of network hosts and devices. This job requires experience working in a highly technical environment, guiding and executing tactical and strategic objectives, assisting other team members and being able to complete tasks under a short deadline. JOB SUMMARY: You will be working on a team of Computer Network Operators to identify network attack approaches, gain execution on target systems, conduct lateral movement and persist on target objectives while thoroughly documenting your activities for findings and other reports. REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Working in Linux operating systems, including Debian and RedHat based distributions, such as CentOS, Rocky, Fedora, Ubuntu and Kali
• Experience working Linux network security tools (i.e. Metasploit, Netcat, BurpSuite, NMAP, IPTables and SELinux, etc.)
• A deep understanding of networking protocols and analysis using wireshark, tcpdump or other similar tools
• Understanding of wireless (WiFi/Bluetooth) technology
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems, all supported versions within the last 5 years.
• Understanding of mobile telephony technology such as Android / iOS.
• Understanding of common network devices such as switches and routers.
• Motivated self-starter with an analytical focus, problem solving skills, time management skills, and a passion for computer, network, or cyber security.
• Hands-on experience with common scripting/programming languages to automate tasks and/or parse data such as bash, python, powershell and/or perl.
• Understanding of exploit methodology, processes and development.
• Understanding of network scanning
• Vulnerability analysis/assessment
• Experience building virtual infrastructures with tools such as VMware / ESXi, Promox, VirtualBox, KVM or similar. • Experience with orchestration tools such as Ansible, Salt and/or Puppet. DESIRED SKILLS:
• Prior CNO training such as RIOT or FORGE
• Advanced GIAC and/or (ISC)2 network/cyber security specialties such as GPEN, GXPN, GWAPT, GAWN or Offensive Security OSCP or similar. • BSD variant Operating System, all supported versions within the last 5 years.
• UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX, etc.) Operating System,all supported versions within the last 5 years.
• Database Administration and application development with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL.
• C/C++ Language software development.
• Java Language software development.
