Position Summary:
A highly professional and experienced butler/server is sought for a private family based in New York City. This individual will provide personalized service to the family, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of hospitality, care, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong serving and hospitality experience, with a focus on creating a seamless, exceptional experience for the family, including a friendly and attentive approach with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service & Hosting: Provide formal and informal service during meals, gatherings, and events, ensuring attention to detail in presentation, timing, and guest interaction.
• Household Management: Assist with household organization on an as-needed basis. More so for events.
• Errands & Personal Assistance: Run errands on an as-needed basis to assist with the family’s personal needs, ensuring that every request is executed promptly and with care.
• Guest Relations: Provide an exemplary experience for guests, offering assistance with their needs, maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
• Security Awareness: Maintain a high level of discretion and respect for the family’s privacy, handling sensitive matters with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in a similar role with a private family, luxury hotel, or high-end restaurant, ideally with a strong background in formal service and hospitality.
• Skills:
• Strong server skills with knowledge of formal dining protocols.
• Ability to interact professionally with children, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
• Expertise in event planning and hosting.
• Management skills with household staff, being able to clearly provide direction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Overall great positive vibe, with a “can do” attitude.

•• Availability: Flexible with days and hours and able to travel if needed.
