Job Summary: As an Attendant - Beverage Cart , you will be serving beer, wine and/or canned mixed beverages for customers according to established guest service standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: •Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
•Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
•Serving customers as part of a team by anticipating their needs, initiating conversation, offering assistance and advice and remembering that "the customer is always right"
•Greeting guests immediately
•Taking drink orders from customers
•Collecting payment and follows cash handling procedures
•Ordering or requisitions liquors and supplies
•Washing glasses
•Maintaining clean and sanitary bar area
•Monitoring guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines
•Resolving guest complaints
•Taking breaks only when approved by the Manager
•Keeping a clean and professional appearance at all times
•Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: •Must be 21 years of age or older
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
•Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
•Must have six months or more related experience
•Must have alcohol certification
•Must have knowledge of beverage order processing systems
•Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands: •Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds
•Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead
Work Environment: The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
